Bringing our innovative workplace solutions to the Asia-Pacific region

Pressac’s new partnership with Power Workplace takes smart sensors global. Smart sensor technology is increasingly being used in workplaces across the globe. Smart building sensor manufacturer Pressac Communications partners with a range of software and IoT solutions providers, and is pleased to be working alongside Power Workplace, helping to install their innovative workplace solutions in the Asia-Pacific region.

Pressac’s wireless smart sensors combine with software to deliver a smart workplace solution that’s easy to install and maintain. It enables organisations to monitor real-time workplace utilisation, occupancy and environmental conditions for meeting and desk bookings, improve user experiences and reduce operational costs and carbon footprint.

“We’re delighted to include Power Workplace in our portfolio of partners,” says Pressac’s Managing Director Peter Burbidge. “As an IoT technology solutions provider, they are ideally placed to integrate our sensors into their systems, creating smart solutions in the Asia-Pacific region.”

“Power Workplace chose Pressac sensors due to their EnOcean low-power wireless technology,” says Alan Yeung, CTO of Power Workplace. “The batteries last over five years and operate on the wireless 868 MHz radio frequency, so there’s no interference with DECT, WLAN and PMR systems – easy to install, highly reliable and secure data transmission.”

Power Workplace has successfully carried out a sizable Pressac installation in a FTSE 100 business, adding over 1000 desk and room sensors in Hong Kong.
