How do our table occupancy sensors detect presence?

Our table occupancy sensors use a narrow-angle, 180-degree Passive Infrared (PIR) motion detector to detect movement within a 0.5-metre range. This allows the sensor to accurately determine whether a seat or space at a shared table is occupied, without detecting movement from adjacent areas or people walking past.

How are our table sensors installed?

Our wireless table sensors are quick and easy to install. They attach discreetly to the underside of shared tables or bench desks using either adhesive pads for temporary setups or screws for permanent fixtures. No technical expertise or special tools are required.

Do our table occupancy sensors require calibration?

No, our table sensors are ready to go straight out of the box. Once installed and activated, they begin monitoring occupancy without the need for any calibration or adjustment.

What is the battery life of our table occupancy sensors?

Each table occupancy sensor features a long-life battery designed to last over 5 years, depending on the reporting frequency and usage environment.

How do our table occupancy sensors transmit data?

Our sensors use EnOcean wireless technology to transmit data across licence-free ISM bands (868 MHz in Europe and 902 MHz in North America). This makes them highly scalable and suitable for flexible working environments.
