Our IoT sensor technology
Measure, monitor and detect changes in a building’s environment and assets and get instant access to real-time data in the cloud
Wireless, low-energy smart sensor and connected technology
Our smart-building sensor technology allows you to collect data, detect changes and control your environment and assets. Automatically and in real time.

Quick-to-install
There’s no need for an electrician or running cables in the wall.
Our small wireless sensors simply stick onto the relevant surface – such as a desk, wall or door – and send their data wirelessly to the cloud, making them cost-effective and easy to retrofit into existing buildings.
Ultra-low maintenance
Our sensors use ultra-low-power, energy-harvesting technology, so there’s no need to keep replacing batteries.
Environmentally friendly and highly sustainable, they’re either self powered or use long-life batteries that typically last over five years.

Secure wireless transmission
Data is sent wirelessly and securely – using AES-128 encryption – via EnOcean wireless protocol, which is designed for reliable transmission in networks with many sensors, such as smart buildings.
Transmitting up to 30m in buildings and 300m in free field, it uses internationally approved, licence-free ISM bands:
- 868 MHz for Europe (CE/RED regulations) and China
- 902 MHz for North America (FCC specification) and Canada (IC specification)
- 928 MHz for Japan (ARIB specification)
Easy-to-access data
Our smart gateway receives live sensor data from multiple sensors, converts it into an easy-to-use JSON format, time-stamps and sends securely – using TLS – to any local or cloud MQTT broker/platform via WiFi, 4G or Ethernet.
Our online gateway interface lets you quickly and easily connect directly with IBM Watson, Microsoft Azure or AWS IoT platforms for further data processing, analysis and storage before integrating with your application.

Interoperable and scalable
Our sensors use the EnOcean wireless protocol – one of the most widely used in the world. Its prevalence means it offers great interoperability, allowing you to easily add to and scale your smart systems.
The data from our sensors can be integrated into any software or platform, connected directly to smart controllers or fed directly into building management systems.
Highest quality and safety standards
Our sensors are built to last, with no faulty or short lifetime products.
Manufactured in the UK to high-quality ISO standards and high-safety specifications, they are subject to rigorous testing procedures.
