Wireless dry contact
sensors
Get real-time alerts about the contact status of essential equipment, such as UPS status, security systems, fire alarms or air conditioning units

Reports live contact status
A dry contact sensor can be used to monitor the open/close status of any piece of equipment that has a contact point, or reed switch

Get updates as status changes
Know the live status and get instant updates if contact status changes

Track status over time
Monitor equipment status in you IoT platform, BMS system or other software
Looking for a partner who can design and manufacture reliable, cost-effective sensors in high volume?
How our dry contact sensors work
A dry contact sensor can be used to monitor any piece of equipment that has a volt-free, dry contact output, or reed switch. The reed switch will either be open or closed, meaning the appliance status will be on or off, and will alert you when that status changes. By adding our dry contact sensor to the switch, you can automatically monitor the status of your equipment in your IoT platform, BMS system or other software.
Features
- Reports dry contact status changes in real-time and status
updates every 15 minutes - Small, discreet sensors simply stick to a wall or side of the equipment
- Connect to the device using a push-wire connection of two wires
- Solar-powered using ambient room light. Optional battery back-up for periodic low-light conditions – battery typically last up to 10 years
- Transmit data wirelessly and securely – using AES-128 encryption – via EnOcean wireless protocol, which uses internationally approved, licence-free ISM bands
- 868 MHz for Europe (RED)
- 902 MHz for North America (FCC) and Canada (IC)
- 928 MHz for Japan (ARIB specification)
- Manufactured in the UK to high-quality and high-safety specifications, they are subject to rigorous testing procedures.
- Dimensions: 76.5 x 28 x 17.5 mm (approx)
- Packaging unit: single (min. 25 pcs)

Easily integrate real-time data with your existing systems
Access and visualise real-time dry contact sensor data
Because our technology is platform agnostic, the data from our sensors can be used in any way you need. For example, integrate our contact sensors with your BMS system, to automatically detect when equipment is being used or faults occur.

Integrate data into
any software or IoT platform
Data can be sent locally or to the cloud using our smart gateway. Access data in real-time through any MQTT broker, IBM Watson, Microsoft Azure or AWS loT platforms

Connect directly to
smart devices
Our sensors can interact directly with actuators, allowing you to automate local control systems

Feed directly into existing
building management systems
Sensor data can be used in systems with protocols such as Modbus, letting you monitor, control and report within an existing BMS
